Free use
SpeedMetric is provided free of charge for measuring your own internet connection. The service is offered on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.
Accuracy disclaimer
Speed results are real measurements of data transfer between your browser and the test server at the moment of testing. Results can vary with network conditions, server load, distance to the test server, your device, and other factors. A single test server cannot perfectly represent global internet performance.
Acceptable use
You agree not to abuse the test endpoints — for example, by automating excessive requests to generate bandwidth. We apply rate limiting and other protections and may restrict access that appears abusive.
Limitation of liability
SpeedMetric is not liable for any decisions made based on test results, nor for any bandwidth costs incurred by running tests on metered connections.
